Imi is the very first Windy Ridge baby.  She was born at about 11 A.M. on May 16, 2008 at the Deburce Ranch in Norco, California.  Since this was Kacee's first foal I wanted to be sure she was with someone with lots of experience. Kacee wasn't due until about the 22nd. and I just happen to be at Danny and Jeanne DeBruce's so Twenty and my then gelding Chester could be clipped and I could fit in a driving lesson.  Jeanne went to the barn to check on Kacee, when she yelled for me to come because Kacee was foaling I really thought she was kidding.  I wanted to be at the birth so much, but my home at the time was 40 minutes from her ranch and I knew the chances of making it were next to none.  It was but the grace of God that I was there and got to experience the birth and the first hours of Imi's life, it was such a blessing and privilege to witness this little miracle.  Thank you Danny and Jeanne for making sure everything with Kacee and Image went so perfect!
